Hailing from Kolkata, Nitasha Biswas is India’s first-ever transgender beauty contest winner. She is a trans activist, model, influencer, TEDx Speaker and has represented India on the world stage. She has been a part of Miss International Queen, bagging a spot in the Top-15 during the Talent Quest, and was a winner of Miss Australia 2019. She was also Miss Transqueen India, which is a one-of-a-kind beauty pageant for trans women. Fighting all challenges that came her way since adolescence, to making a mark for transwomen’s privilege, she has built her way through all odds.
