All of 20 years old and refreshingly real, Janina is a Filipina video content creator and a body positivity warrior who’s unafraid to share about her real-life struggles. Her personal mantra? Kindness is contagious.

Jasleen Royal

Jasleen is one of the youngest singers, composers and songwriters in the Indian music and film industry. She hails from Punjab. She first gained popularity in 2008 after qualifying for India’s Got Talent: Semi Finals. This musical star has sung for movies like Dear Zindagi, Phillauri, Baar Baar Dekho and most recently Gully Boy and Kesari. She also composed the soundtrack for YRF’s film Hichki. Jasleen has carved a niche for herself in independent music spaces as well as Bollywood. She has received accolades at MTV Video Music Awards and at ‘Free the Music’ awards. In 2017, Jasleen was nominated for the Upcoming Music Composer of the Year for the album Shivaay at the 9th Mirchi Music Awards. In 2019, Jasleen composed the song ‘Jahan Tu Chala’ for the movie Gully Boy that won the Best Music at the 26th Star Screen Awards. It also won the the Best Album of the Year at the 12th Mirchi Music Awards of which Jasleen was one of the composers. There’s no stopping this girl with a golden voice for she just released her new single ‘Sang Rahiyo’ which is a contempany love ballad. It has garnered nearly 9 million views on YouTube since its release in September 2020.

Joyce Pring

It might be her first name, however, Joyce is certainly no Princess. This grit girl, with the gift of gab, doesn’t just sing, dance and host – she also takes part in car races and triathlons, and is a World Vision Ambassador who began sponsoring kids when she was 18 years old.

Kabita Singh (Kabita’s Kitchen)

Started her journey by documenting everyday Indian cuisine on Youtube, Kabita Singh rose to fame with her delicious recipes. Initially a bank employee, she quit her job to start a new venture that now has over 11.8 million subscribers and identifies herself amongst the most popular female cooks in India.

Kamakshi Khanna

Kamakshi Khanna is a singer and songwriter whose music represents strength in vulnerability. She is an artist who believes in the power of constantly reinventing and innovating her art, she is influenced by R&B/Soul, folk, pop, Jazz and Hindustani Classical. With an EP (Much Mellow) and album (Cakewalk) under her belt, Kamakshi is now experimenting with her sound while keeping it subtle and understated, an aesthetic she truly stands for. Some of her notable performances include indie music festivals like NH7 Weekender Pune & Shillong, VH1 Supersonic in Pune, Rhythm N Blues Festival in Kasauli, Lil Flea Festival in Mumbai and Delhi and a solo US tour across cities like New York, LA and Austin. Kamakshi also appeared on Season 1 of India’s first English singing show, ‘The Stage’ and was one of the top 6 contestants.

Kareema Barry

A cheery, bubbly and charismatic personality, Kareema is the star of the show, wherever she goes. Surprisingly, quite the debating champion, Kareema is known to produce overdramatic (but also true) takes on slice-of-life moments. The millennial comic found stardom through TikTok and more recently, through Instagram. She reiterates the true worth of women and addresses mental health. Creatively expressing her opinions on serious problems, she has a charming way of lifting our mood.

Karen David

Karen David began her career on London’s West End, in the original cast of Mamma Mia! Upon her drama school graduation stint at the Globe, as Rosaline in Love’s Labour’s Lost. She went on to star in new dramatist plays at Stratford Royal East, the Hammersmith Lyric Theatre and in the U.S, worked with director, Kimberly Senior, and Pulitzer Prize winning dramatist, Ayad Akhtar, on his play, The Who and the What, for La Jolla Playhouse. Shortly after graduating drama college, in between acting on stage, she signed a recording deal with music giant, BMG, and a publishing deal with Hit & Run/EMI music. She went on to achieve top 4 airplay hits in Europe from her album, and has collaborated and worked with Oscar winning composer, AR Rahman, (Slumdog Millionaire). In tv and film, she is currently a series regular as Grace on AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead, and has been a series regular as Isabella on ABC’s Galavant. Karen has been a recurring guest star on many TV shows, including most recently, CW’s Legacies, ABC’s The Rookie, the award winning, reunion series of ITV’s Cold Feet, HBO’s Barry, ABC’s Once Upon A Time as Jasmine, and CBS’s Criminal Minds to name a few. In the animation world, Karen is currently voicing the roles of Ashima, Shilpa and Ruby on Disney’s hit show, Mira, Royal Detective. Recently, Karen co-produced her first short film and acted in “In Hollywoodland” which was selected for competition screenings in Geena Davis’, Bentonville Film Festival, American Black Film Festival, Social Injustice Film Festival, Catalina Film Festival and Hollyshorts to begin with, and is continuing on the film festival circuit this year. Her other films include film festival and audience cinema award favorite, The Tiger Hunter, opposite Danny Pudi, Netflix’s Amar, Akbar & Tony, Bollywood Queen, with James McAvoy, Batman Begins, The Scorpion King: Rise of a Warrior, Couples Retreat, Red Lights and Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit.

Kiara Nirghin

Kiara Nirghin is a scientist, innovator and speaker. At 16, Kiara won the grand prize at the Google Science Fair and the Community Impact Award with her solution to the worldwide drought. She has been featured by both The Times and The Guardian on their top 30 most influential teens lists and invited by Forbes and TED to speak about her work. More recently, Kiara was named one of the United Nations Young Champions of the Earth and one of the fifty most inspiring women in technology. You’ll want to keep your eyes on this unstoppable young lady!
