Globe

As the co-producer for the second year running, Globe helped thousands of young girls at It’s A Girl Thing to stay connected. Literally with fast and accessible WiFi, and by creating interactive activity booths for all to enjoy.

On-ground engagement
The Hangout Booth featured four activity stations – the Creator stage, Sneak Pic, Creator Fave Line and Make It Matter Wall. Attendees were given activity passports which they used to win prizes once they experienced all activities at the Hangout Booth.

Seamless connectivity

Globe At Home provided fast and accessible WiFi connection to the event attendees for them to easily share real-time photos and videos of the event on social media. In return, there were Unli Fiber and Prepaid WiFi lighted LEDs set up around the venue to serve as promotional materials for their products.

Dove Self-Esteem Project

An advocate for body confidence, and a challenger of beauty stereotypes, Dove joined forces with It’s A Girl Thing to provide girls with the self-esteem education they need to reach their full potential.

Influencer marketing
Dove engaged Dani Barretto to represent the Dove Self-Esteem Project at It’s a Girl Thing. They leveraged Dani’s fanbase to create higher engagement with a social media giveaway for IAGT tickets, and a chance to meet Dani.
 
Panel discussions
Dani was also integrated into a panel discussion called ‘Confidence: The Key to Success’, which allowed her to boost awareness of the Dove Self-Esteem Project.

On-ground engagement
Dove set up an experiential booth with plenty of photo opportunities, with the best photos snagging prizes – all announced live during the show.  

Social engagement
The Dove social team delivered tactical social communications while at the event, which were boosted to extend the reach and impact of Dove’s IAGT partnership.

Microsoft #MakeWhatsNext

As IAGT’s Official Coding Partner, Microsoft chose to shine its light on the amazing opportunities that STEM skills unlock for girls and young women to make a difference in this world.

Workshops
Microsoft brought its Hour of Code workshop to It’s A Girl Thing – a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to spark creativity and develop problem-solving skills in girls of all ages. With 76 certified coders, the workshop was an absolute success!

On-ground engagement
Microsoft shared their message of empowerment with 2000+ Filipino teen girls at their booth and introduced the #MakeWhatsNext movement to 600+ teen girls.
